Our Mission

D.A.D.S (Dads Against Digital Sex-Crimes) is a nonprofit organization run by bearded, patriotic American dads with an unshakable mission: protect our kids from the scourge of online predators. We’re not just talk—we’re action. Our dual fight is to educate parents, kids, and families about the dangers of digital sex crimes and to locate missing and exploited children through our on-the-ground rescue team. Fueled by faith, forged in freedom, we’re here to raise awareness, provide support, and stand as an unbreakable shield against those who prey on innocence.

The stakes are sky-high. In 2023 alone, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) received over 36 million reports of suspected child sexual exploitation—a 300% spike from 2021. That’s not just a number; it’s a war cry. Predators aren’t lurking in shadows anymore—they’re hiding behind screens, using encrypted apps, fake profiles, and AI tools to cloak their tracks. The Department of Homeland Security’s Know2Protect campaign notes that offenders exploit platforms kids know best—social media, gaming networks, even chat rooms—coercing them into sharing explicit content or meeting in person. Sextortion cases, where kids are blackmailed with their own images, have surged, with the FBI reporting over 13,000 incidents involving at least 12,600 victims between 2021 and 2023, including 20 tragic suicides. These cowards use technology as a shield, thinking it makes them untouchable. We’re here to prove them wrong.

Education is our weapon. Predators thrive in the dark—ignorance is their ally. By teaching families how to spot red flags, secure devices, and talk openly about online risks, we strip away their cover. The Childlight Global Child Safety Institute found that 1 in 8 kids worldwide—over 300 million annually—face online sexual exploitation, often because no one taught them the danger. Our rescue team takes it further, hitting the ground to find and free kids trapped by these monsters. Every lesson we teach, every child we save, is a blow against this digital plague.
